Second in a planned series of 5 volumes, this is a compilation of selected articles from The Bulletin of the Texas Archeological and Paleontological Society, spanning the years 1934 to 1954,  assembled and with a new foreword by archaeologist Myles R. Miller (series editor Timothy K. Perttula). 

Volume 2 is a collection of articles discussing Jornada Mogollon archaeology,  an egg-shaped cultural region comprising parts of west Texas, south-central New Mexico, and northern Chihuahua, Mexico.

.     "Because of the inaccessibility of the early Bulletin of the Texas Archeological and Paleontological Society volumes, the articles included in this compilation have been difficult to find. A common outcome of this difficultly of access is that most researchers possess multi-generational Xerox copies of the articles. The pages of such copes are so faded, grainy, and fuzzy that it is difficult and often impossible to make out details on the accompanying photographs, maps, and illustrations, and therefore much important information on material culture is unfortunately obscured. Many researchers, including myself, have such copies in their libraries and have often bemoaned the inability to examine good quality prints. When Tim Perttula and Gustav's Library contacted me about the opportunity of reviving these articles by reprinting them in volumes of collected papers, I welcomed the opportunity without hesitation. It is hoped that the reprinting of these articles will provide new insights and new discoveries into the prehistory of the Jornada region, both for understanding the intellectual history of archeological research in the region during the first half of the 20th century and for finding new data and insights for research in the first half of the 21st century." ....
