of the contents into numerous private
collections, the Heye Museum of the
American Indian produced this
publication to catalog the objects that
were acquired by the museum. Also
included is an historical sketch of the
Spiro Mound by Forrest E. Clements.
The materials used for the manufacture
of these exquisite artifacts include
stone, copper, wood, cane and shell. |
